Constructability Reviews
All contractors are invited to participate in the external review
program.
When the ODOT Project Team decides that a review is needed for a
specific project, the project leader will select two contractors from
the list of participants. After the two contractors are confirmed and
the review scheduled, details regarding the review will be posted on the
ODOT Construction Contracts Unit’s website,
ODOT Procurement Office Construction - (Highway &
Bridge Contracts).
Any contractor can attend and participate
in the review, if they choose
to do so. Contractor personnel will not be reimbursed for their
services.
ODOT is committed to making the external review program fair to all
pre-qualified contractors. After the program is underway for a period of
time, it is anticipated that each contractor will be selected and
participate at approximately the same level. No contractor will be
excluded from participation in either the overall program or project
reviews.
